Academic Developers on Theories of Change

Learning Outcomes:

• Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on networks that influence, or have influenced, their teaching and learning practice and evaluate how conducive these are to change in practice
• Participants will consider and discuss sociocultural perspectives in higher education, such as culture, organisational learning, communities of practice and leadership in a competing values framework
• Participants can review their experiences of academic development activities and analyse these in relation to theories of change
• Participants will have the opportunity to enrich their understanding of how clusters of academic development interventions can successfully work together within higher education
