In October 2024, TUS Library launched TUS Open Press, using the Pressbooks platform. TUS Open Press is a flexible and user-friendly platform where our staff and students can publish their work, research, projects and innovative practices in an engaging digital format.
Since our launch the Open Press has gone from strength to strength with our most recent Pressbook, Your Essay Builder, being awarded the Pressbook Book of the Month for February 2026. Our model is very inclusive and we accept many publication types across our faculties, in alignment with our values of inclusivity and openness.
We recognise the importance of peer review in creating and publishing high quality Open Educational Resources (OER). Accordingly, we invite you to consider becoming a peer reviewer for TUS Open Press by completing this short Microsoft Form: Peer Review Network Expression of Interest. We value the critical feedback and suggestions for improvement you can provide.
We are cognisant of time commitments and are in the process of developing efficient and streamlined processes for Reviewers. If you’d like to discuss this opportunity further, please contact TUS OER Librarian, Maura Flynn.
