Maynooth University Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is delighted to offer a limited number of places to Irish Higher Education colleagues to participate in their LEAF Education Framework Summer School.
The summer school will take place in-person on campus from 15th – 16th June 2026. It will be facilitated by the CTL LEAF team, the LEAF Senior T&L Fellows and members of the LEAF Expert External Advisory Panel.
Summer School topics include the Maynooth University Education Framework principles of Active Learning, Care, and Social and Environmental Justice.
The purpose of the summer school is to provide colleagues with an engaging and enjoyable opportunity to re-imagine a module or enhance their practice using MU Education Framework principles. The summer school will use a variety of active methodologies including scenario-based learning, facilitated discussions, structured peer exchange, and workshopping to support participants in module redesign and in identifying actionable techniques and resources that can be applied more broadly across their teaching and learning practice.
The programme will also provide opportunities for cross-institutional dialogue, collaboration and the sharing of practice among colleagues from across the higher education sector.
There is no fee to attend the summer school, and tea/coffee and lunch will be provided on each day.
If you are interested in attending the summer school, please email us at teachingandlearning@mu.ie
The Leadership and EducAtion Framework (LEAF) initiative is a Maynooth University Centre for Teaching and Learning led project funded under the HEA Strategic Alignment of Teaching and Learning Enhancement (SATLE) call.
