About this Webinar
The Higher Education Authority and the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education invite colleagues across the higher education community to join this online session introducing the 2025 Open Courses call for Expressions of Interest in course development and delivery.
Open Courses (opencourses.ie) is a national initiative supporting flexible, non-accredited professional development opportunities that align with the National Professional Development Framework for All Staff Who Teach in Higher Education.
For 2025, Open Courses are fully integrated with N-TUTORR’s My Digital Backpack, opening opportunities for both staff and students.
Who Should Attend?

Academic, teaching, professional and support staff across higher education (see eligible HEIs)

Institutional leads for teaching and learning, professional development, or open education, including those engaged in SATLE initiatives targeting professional development, capacity, and capability building

Potential course developers, facilitators, collaborators, and members of networks or communities of practice working in strategically important areas of teaching and learning
