The National Forum is currently seeking applications for educational developer roles, across a number of our priority areas. These roles will be very important in helping to support the sector over the coming years. Full- or part-time secondments of 6-18 months will be considered for applicants with the appropriate skills and expertise. Starting dates and duration of the secondments will be negotiable with successful applicants. All successful applicants will contribute to the ongoing workplan of the National Forum, which aligns closely with our Strategy 2019-21. Successful applicants can expect to work specifically on one of the following development areas of the National Forum’s work:
The Professional Development of All Those Who Teach
This development role will focus on: supporting the further implementation of the professional development framework for all those who teach through activities such as the National Forum’s Open Courses initiative and other implementation work.
Teaching and Learning Enhancement Within and Across Disciplines
This development role will focus on: supporting enhancements in disciplinary learning, teaching and assessment through such activities as supporting initiatives funded through the Strategic Alignment Teaching and Learning Enhancement Fund and building relationships with established disciplinary and other relevant networks.
Student Success
This development role will focus on: building on the national understanding and recognised enablers of student success, and progressing the work of the National Forum in identifying and responding to the related needs of institutions, staff and students.
