  • Online Submission

Please ensure that you have your video and written piece ready to upload as this application needs to be completed in one sitting; it is not possible to save your application and return to it later.

Your submission should be made by 12 noon on 04 May 2021. No late submissions will be accepted.

  • Please upload a video (max 5 minutes) that captures i) your motivation for applying for the post of student associate intern with the National Forum and ii) how you feel you would support the work of the National Forum, if appointed, in working towards an excellent teaching and learning experience for all students in higher education.

We are not overly concerned with the production values of the video. The video simply needs to be straightforward with reasonable sound and a clear steady picture. If you are a student with a disability and wish to submit your entry using a format other than video for accessibility reasons, please send an email to studentsuccess@teachingandlearning.ie and we will make arrangements with you

    Max. file size: 50 MB.

Please include your name in your filename. If you continue to experience issues uploading your file please contact studentsuccess@teachingandlearning.ie

  • Please review the National Forum’s four strategic priorities at https://www.teachingandlearning.ie/our-priorities. Please reflect on the four priorities and outline how, if you were appointed to the role of Student Associate Intern, you feel you could support the National Forum team in responding to each priority (a maximum of two short bullet points for each priority).
  • The Covid-19 crisis has made teaching and learning visible within all higher education Institutions. What three pieces of advice would you give the senior management in higher education institutions to guide them as they support their staff and students to navigate post-Covid higher education? (max 150 words)
