  • Welcome to the National Forum online system for submitting proposals for the above fund. This interface enables a fully online, paperless approach to the submission of your proposals.

    Proposals can be submitted from now until 17:00 on 31 March 2021. The online application system will not accept submissions after this time.

    Information for making your submission

    1. All of the proposals for T&L Initiatives from your institution must be submitted using this URL.
    2. The person with responsibility for making the submissions is detailed in Section 1 of this form. Please advise us immediately (fund2020@teachingandlearning.ie) if these details are incorrect.
    3. Each T&L Initiative proposal must be detailed separately in this overall institutional submission.
    4. A separate video/recorded presentation must accompany each T&L Initiative proposal.
    5. The total budgeted spend for all proposals must equal the funding allocated to your institution (appendix 1 of the call document).
    6. Please use clear, concise, plain English to describe the initiatives you are planning (please consider that your audience may not have previous knowledge regarding the kind of approach you are presenting or the context of the proposal(s). Clearly differentiate the different teaching and learning initiatives you are proposing.
    7. To support the institutional lead in completing this online submission, a templates has been developed for gathering information about proposals from T&L initiative teams. The institutional lead can ask T&L initiative teams to fill in the proposal template but should then enter information from the proposal template as a new proposal entry on this online interface. A proposal template is available here

    Please Note: For any inter-institutional collaborative T&L Initiative proposals, the proposal summary detailed in this institutional submission should reflect that submitted by the partner institutions. In addition, the video/recorded presentation submitted should be developed collaboratively and submitted by each of the partners as part of their overall submission.

    The following conditions apply in relation to the submission of a proposal and any subsequent amendments.

    1. The information submitted is true and an accurate reflection of the agreed proposal(s).
    2. The institution is in possession of the appropriate copyright/licences/permits for all computer software or other applications required in the implementation of the proposed T&L Initiatives, as appropriate.
    3. All resources produced through these Initiatives will have a Creative Commons licence (The CC BY licence is the National Forum’s preferred open licence. This is the most permissive licence, enabling reuse, revision, remixing and redistribution by others, although all who use the resource must provide attribution to the creator).
    4. Agreement to participate fully with the review process outlined on page 8 of the call, including the timely submission of paperwork requested by the National Forum.
