Student Success Symposium: Developing our national understanding of student success
The National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, in partnership with the Higher Education Authority (HEA), is organising a Student Success Symposium in the Morrison Hotel, Dublin, on the morning of 24 October 2019.
The purpose of the symposium is to provide participants with the opportunity to contribute to the development of a national understanding of student success, to learn how student success is currently being conceptualised within institutions nationally and to consider approaches that have been adopted internationally. Participants will be asked to discuss how institutions can be best supported in developing inclusive policies for student success.
The National Forum and HEA are seeking participation from across the higher education system – senior management, students, deans of teaching and learning, those who teach, equity of access professionals, finance and administration staff, learning support staff, library staff, etc. All are welcome and the success of the event will be enhanced by the diversity and range of participants. It will be a highly interactive event that will engage the views of all who attend.
An agenda and details of registration will be available in September 2019.
