The submission process is in two phases: 

  • Expression of Interest An eligibility check will be performed on applications received by 12 September deadline. Applicants are invited to carefully check they meet the eligibility criteria before submitting their EoI by 12 September 2025. 
  • Invitation to submit Full application – Only applications that meet the eligibility criteria will be invited to submit a full application by 31 October deadline. Invitations to submit full applications will be sent to eligible applicants by 19 September. 

No, SATLE Impact awards are awarded on the basis of the impact of completed projects or initiatives funded under SATLE. 

While you may mention future plans for context, they will not be considered in the evaluation and should not form the basis of the application. Applications focused primarily on future plans and expected impact may result in the application to be considered ineligible. 

Yes, any project funded under SATLE since 2019 is eligible. 

Successful applicants will be notified of funding conditions upon award and subsequent submission of a project plan. 

Please note: Only successful applicants will need to provide project plans (post-award). 

No, more than one application per Institution can be submitted provided that they relate to projects funded under SATLE. 

Please note: applications require an institutional endorsement – a signed letter of endorsement needs to be attached to the application form (as per template provided).  

For applications involving more than one institution, a lead applicant must be named as the main contact and as financial custodian of the award. 

Upon award, and in agreement with the HEA, the funding can be dispersed among the other HEIs as part of the follow-up project. 

The impact of the project/initiative can be demonstrated either as a whole across the institutions involved or broken down by individual institutions. 

Applications can only be submitted in one of the four categories identified in the call for applications.

In case of proposals potentially covering more than one theme, applications must choose a primary theme. Applications will be grouped in one of the four categories as part of the assessment process.
