REEdI (Rethinking Engineering Education in Ireland) – Munster Technological University

The REEdI project at Munster Technological University is a transformative initiative aimed at rethinking engineering education in Ireland. They are best described as a programme development team, formed to develop and deliver a new Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering programme at MTUs’ Kerry campus.

Hincks Centre for Entrepreneurship Excellence, School of Business – Munster Technological University

The Hincks Centre, Ireland’s first centre for entrepreneurship excellence, was established in 2013 to support entrepreneurship in all its forms. Engaging in academic and policy focused research, education and training, the Centre is an integral part of the strong entrepreneurship eco-system across the University.

Department of Marketing and International Business – Munster Technological University

This multidisciplinary team is composed of experienced industry professionals and academic scholars who bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise in various areas of marketing and international business. The discipline group is divided into five teams with each team allocated to one of the five components and with the component allocation aligned to the team members’ interests and expertise.

Tourism and Hospitality Department – Munster Technological University

The Home Economics and Business programme at Munster Technological University  is distinctive in that 11 departments across MTU contribute to the programme. The multidisciplinary programme is comprised of academics across an array of areas and supported by a wide range of internal (e.g. Heads of Department, Section Heads, Department Secretary and Administration office, Technicians, Career Office, Library, Student Engagement Office, Technology Enhanced Learning Unit, Teaching and Learning Unit, Disability Support Services) and external stakeholders (e.g. industry partners, University College Cork).

School of Food Science and Environmental Health – Technological University Dublin

The team comprises scientists (Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology) and pharmacists. Additionally, professional service members, student representatives, alumni representatives. The programme prepares students for roles as Pharmacy Technicians in hospital/community pharmacies, equipping them with practical, professional, and academic skills necessary for pharmacy activities, including understanding prescription and over-the-counter medicines/their formulation and use in treating illnesses.
