ALM30 – Theory and Practice in a Changing World

The Adults Learning Mathematics – 30th conference will be hosted by the University of Limerick., Ireland.
The conference will be held from 3rd – 5th July 2023 at the University of Limerick.
The theme for this year’s conference is Numeracy Theory and Practice in a Changing World.
ALM are inviting research articles that align with this theme. In addition to this, at ALM30 invites practitioners to join on Tuesday July 4th for a number of practical workshops on this day. The conference will involve a number of different sessions involving research presentations and workshops which may be drawn from the following list of sub topics:
- Numeracy in a Digital Era
- Numeracy in a Sustainable, Healthy and Peaceful Global Environment
- Effective numeracy teaching
- Changing numeracy policies
- Issues in numeracy education for adult learners in the 21st Century and beyond
All submissions that align with the overarching theme will be considered.
