DkIT has launched its N-TUTORR Impact Report, an interactive online resource showcasing the Institute’s achievements under the nationally funded N-TUTORR project. Funded by NextGenerationEU and co-ordinated by the national Programme Management Office and THEA/TUA with the support of the HEA throughout, N-TUTORR brought together seven higher education institutions in a unified sectoral effort to transform teaching, learning, and the student experience.
This DkIT impact report, prepared by Dr. Ronan Bree, DkIT N-TUTORR Institutional Lead, captures the breadth of work undertaken locally from digital collaboration active-learning spaces, to smart lightboard studios, to staff fellowship programmes, student partnership initiatives, and sustainable digital platforms including a campus wayfinding app, and an AI-powered academic integrity student chatbot. DkIT’s work was part of a wider collaborative and shared effort across all partner institutions in the Technological Higher Education Sector, with teams openly sharing knowledge, resources, and best practice throughout the project.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Sheila Flanagan, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Registrar, said: “What strikes me most about the N-TUTORR journey at DkIT is that it was very much about ‘people’. The staff who embraced new ways of working, the students who shaped our direction, and the collective commitment to making lasting and meaningful change. Well done to all involved, both locally and nationally”.
