Construction Education – Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR & AR)

Virtual environments and augmented reality offer the construction industry the luxury of experiencing and coordinating proposed projects before committing to the real thing. Furthermore, it provides educators with another tool to engage students in immersive digital building projects within the safety of the classroom. This event presents some of the VR and AR technologies being explored in the delivery of courses in the Department of Civil Engineering and Construction at LYIT.
