Principles and Practices of Open Research: The PaPOR TRaIL Project and Course

The PaPOR TRaIL project aimed to develop an open education resource (OER) on Open Research for undergraduate and Masters level students. The project involved engaging with students and supervisors to develop the openly accessible PaPOR TRaIL course, which covers both what open research is and how to do it. PaPOR TRaIL is the first open research OER in Ireland and is designed to be applicable in all disciplines in which research is conducted.

This seminar will be led by Dr Karen Matvienko-Sikar, School of Public Health, UCC. It will include an overview of the PaPOR TRaIL project and course and panel discussions with students and research supervisors.
