Gathering international educational experiences: a mixed ‘meitheal’ approach

The Centre for Pedagogical Innovation and Development (CPID) is particularly delighted to welcome their two visiting professors, Sarah Eaton (PhD), University of Calgary, and Professor Jan McArthur, Department of Educational Research, Lancaster University, to TUS from February 17-19, 2025.

  • Sarah Eaton (PhD), is recognised internationally for her work on academic integrity. The focus of her seminar is current and upcoming issues related to the use of generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) and other advanced technologies for teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Professor Jan McArthur, through her work and research, is committed to social justice through higher education and to better, and more just, learning, teaching and assessment practices.

The seminars were devised in collaboration with the TUS Graduate School, SETU (Carlow) and DKIT as part of a series called ‘Gathering international educational experiences: a mixed ‘meitheal’ approach.
