Conference to be Held in Ireland for First time
The National Forum is pleased to announce its national sponsorship of the Open Educational Resources Conference (OER19) which comes to Ireland for the first time when it runs in NUI Galway on 10-11 April 2019.
The conference’s ‘Recentering Open: Critical and Global Perspectives’ theme will showcase the latest thinking and findings from educators, students and researchers from six continents in specialist areas that include open textbooks, open learning spaces and communities, critical digital literacies, student agency and leadership and will appeal to both national and international delegates.
The Forum’s national sponsorship of this conference underpins its commitment to developing and implementing open education principles and practices for Irish higher education that are aligned with EU policy and emerging international practice.
