The National Forum’s Dr. Catherine Cronin will deliver a keynote address and workshop today (Monday 4 March 2019) at The American University in Cairo (AUC), Egypt, as part of the Centre for Learning and Teaching’s participation in the University’s Centennial Symposium Program 2019.
Dr Cronin, Strategic Education Developer at the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education in Ireland will guest speak at Inspiration and Innovation: Enriching the Learner Experience on “Teaching in an Age of Complexity: Considering Open, Participatory and Equitable Pedagogies”. A co-facilitated workshop on “Transforming Learning Environments via Student Partnership” will be led by Dr Cronin and AUC staff who designed this session with student associate interns from Ireland’s National Forum and AUC.
This symposium offers participants the opportunity to learn about AUC use of teaching innovations in their classrooms, digital education and will also include a programme of lightning talks, panel sessions and interactive faculty-student discussions.
