DESCRIPTION:The 27th Heads of University Centres of Biomedical Sciences (HUCBMS) conference will be held on 3-4 September 2019 at TU Dublin. This conference is relevant to all those with an interest in policy and practice developments in higher education and research. Established in 1993\, the mission of HUCBMS is to promote the development and enhancement of biomedical sciences teaching and research. \nThe conference will cover the following broad themes: \n–         International Challenges \n–         Teaching and Learning Developments \n–         Research\, Innovation and Impact \n–         Future Strategies \nThe Director of the National Forum\, Dr. Terry Maguire\, will be an invited speaker at the conference\, providing insights on recent advances on the enhancement of teaching and learning. \nFor more information see here.
