SUMMARY:VIT&L Week Virtual International Winter School (November 8th - 12th)
DESCRIPTION:Following on from the success of the inaugural MIE Virtual International Winter School in 2020\, the VIT&L Week Virtual International Winter School will celebrate teaching and learning in Ireland and around the globe. Contributions from Irish and international guest speakers during the five day Winter School will afford participants an opportunity to engage with topics such as professional identity\, being a reflective practitioner\, being a collaborative professional and being a research informed professional. The Winter School will be open to Irish and international educators and students of education\, and will combine both Student Connect and Staff Connect sessions. Participants will also be invited to join an international professional learning network for sharing ideas\, resources and research related to teaching and learning. \nFocus of the event \n\nSharing and valuing ongoing teaching and learning enhancement work\nGathering views and experiences from those who learn\, teach and/or lead on the shift to online/remote learning and considering what has been learned for the future about how teaching and learning can/should be valued\nLeveraging partnerships between those who teach and their students\, as well as the wider educational community\, to foster collective advocacy in strengthening the value placed on teaching and learning\n\nClick here to register
