This seminar will give individuals interested in setting up a Masters course through distance and blended learning an insight into the pitfalls encountered, the learning and the outcomes associated with operating such a Programme.

3.15 – 4.00: How to create meaningful continuous assessment questions with feedback on Blackboard

Learning Outcomes

  1. Know how to manage students who face the challenge of coupling study with a full-time workload and a family
  2. Know how to create an interactive teaching environment using adobe connect and other tools
  3. Be able to create meaningful assignment questions on Blackboard, which are automatically corrected and grades stored.
  4. To have a working knowledge of Panopto and Camtasia and better understand the benefits and limitations of both.
  5. Know how to use Webex for on-line meetings
