One of the most interesting aspects of the PDF Pilot Studies, are the variety of support strategies emerging across the different groups, and over the coming weeks, we will share them here. Support for undertaking the pilot studies are provided by a pilot co-ordinator and expert mentor, and are a blend of dedicated, locally-based and negotiated face-to-face and online sessions.
Monthly Bulletins & Podcasts
As part of the central support offered to all the pilot groups, a series of monthly support bulletins are sent out to the pilot co-ordinators for distribution among their participants:

Video Case Studies
Some of the Expert Mentors and Plot Co-ordinators have been making short video case studies of their experiences of running pilot studies on the PDF implementation. Below are Dr Bernie Brereton and Karen Dunne from DKIT who are supporting the ‘Researchers who Teach’ and ‘Teachers who Research’ Pilot groups respectively.
