SUMMARY:A celebration of excellence in Teaching & Learning
DESCRIPTION:Dublin City University (DCU) is committed to a transformative student learning experience\, specifically cultivating an environment that values and recognises the importance of teaching. Accordingly\, DCU is a member of Advance HE and in 2021 launched the first supported (online) journey to Fellowship which recognises excellence in teaching and learning. DCU now has over 50 Fellows across all faculties\, with some applicants funded through a National Forum SATLE project. \nThis event seeks to celebrate these Fellows’ international recognition of a commitment to professionalism in teaching and learning. All DCU staff will be invited to attend and hear Fellows reflections on the journey. These experiences will be captured in a ‘vox pop’ style video outlining how best to document and share the impact of teaching and learning initiatives. Additionally\, a Word Cloud graphic will be created from successful Fellow applications to promote and support attainment of this teaching excellence recognition. \nFocus of the event \n\nSharing and valuing ongoing teaching and learning enhancement work\nGathering views and experiences from those who learn\, teach and/or lead on the shift to online/remote learning and considering what has been learned for the future about how teaching and learning can/should be valued\n\nRegistration \nClick here to register
