DESCRIPTION:Join us for this one hour online event on Thursday November 11th\, as part of Valuing Ireland’s Teaching & Learning (VIT&L) Week 2021. \nWe will be launching the new Digital Badge in Autism Awareness for Staff (UCC)\, developed as part of the Autism Friendly University Initiative at University College Cork. Attendees will hear perspectives on third level education and the university experience from five autistic current and former students and staff of UCC\, and can then join the speakers for a Q&A session. \nSpeaking at the event will be: \nKirsten Hurley\, School of Education (Former Project Coordinator of the UCC Autism Friendly University Initiative)\, University College Cork \nLisa Dalton (she/her) – UCC graduate and HDip Arts student at UCC \nLaura Murray (she/her) – UCC graduate (Diploma in Autism Studies) \nRhona J.
