SUMMARY:It Takes a Village to Innovate: The Education/ Entrepreneurship Ecosystem
DESCRIPTION:Tangent\, Trinity’s Ideas Workspace offers a suite of postgraduate certificate courses with a future of work focus. To facilitate real world educational value\, our courses engage with a variety of industry and  education stakeholders\, offering students the opportunity to parse their academic learning with the chance to apply it in business settings. The student’s first learning journey involves a complex problem-solving innovation project with an industry partner\, which will be the focus of this event. \nThis online event will comprise of a short CPS workshop to demonstrate transversal skill development with real-world application\, followed by a panel discussion. It will bring together a selection of students and stakeholders to describe the roles and experiences they have had during this project work\, and to demonstrate the value that an experiential learning journey can create in terms of bridging the education-industry gap\, as well as facilitating a meaningful educational experience for adult learners. \nFocus of the event \n\nGathering views and experiences from those who learn\, teach and/or lead on the shift to online/remote learning and considering what has been learned for the future about how teaching and learning can/should be valued\nConsidering the place of teaching and learning in evolving institutional contexts\, e.g.\, in the context of institutional mergers\nLeveraging partnerships between those who teach and their students\, as well as the wider educational community\, to foster collective advocacy in strengthening the value placed on teaching and learning\n\nClick here to register
