SUMMARY:Going Digital – The Transformation of Engineering and Construction Education
DESCRIPTION:The primary aim of the workshop is provide the opportunity for lecturers and students to capture and articulate the issues of engineering and construction education in light of the digital transformation. \nThis will allow education professionals to develop learning enhancement plans and inform teaching professionals of the fast developing changes in education delivery. The workshop will also allow learner feedback on their experience and create a collaborative forum for discussion and reflection of how the value of teaching and learning can be strengthened into the future . \nThe event is available only to those who can attend Letterkenny IT as the workshop is intended as a capacity building tool for education professionals to assess the disciplinary culture and context in engineering and construction education. \nFocus of Event \n\nSharing and valuing ongoing teaching and learning enhancement work\nGathering views and experiences from those who learn\, teach and/or lead on the shift to online/remote learning and considering what has been learned for the future about how teaching and learning can/should be valued\nLeveraging partnerships between those who teach and their students\, as well as the wider educational community\, to foster collective advocacy in strengthening the value placed on teaching and learning\n\nClick here to register
