SUMMARY:ELEVATE\, SATLE 2019
DESCRIPTION:ELEVATE was a national forum SATLE funded project focused on the creation of bespoke\, spatially immersive\, Virtual Reality\, 3D environments where students could physically and conceptually interact with cellular and molecular biology components to enhance their understanding of same. In the panel session members of the interdisciplinary ELEVATE team will discuss the influence of pedagogical frameworks\, SOTL research and technical innovation on the outputs of the project. \nThe critical role of interdisciplinary collaboration and student contribution to optimising teaching resource design will also be discussed together with an outline of the path from ELEVATE to a successful National Forum DELTA award for teaching excellence.
