SUMMARY:Advancing Digital Pedagogy at Maynooth University: Reflecting on the Move Online
DESCRIPTION:This seminar will draw on the experiences of academic and teaching-support staff to identify what has been learnt from the period of emergency online teaching and learning and how Maynooth as an institution can capitalise on this. Utilising a World Café event\, we will problematise questions of what worked well and what didn’t\, by reflecting on the plurality of experiences\, as well as the potential benefits and challenges of digital teaching and learning. The seminar will not only aid in knowledge exchange and the development of an institutional approach to the use of digital technologies in teaching and learning but also\, and importantly\, provide an opportunity for reflection upon areas of future research and collaboration to fully realise the potential of digital technologies to enhance pedagogy at Maynooth. This will be further enabled by the production of a report based on the data generated by the World Café discussion. \nFocus of the event \n\nGathering views and experiences from those who learn\, teach and/or lead on the shift to online/remote learning and considering what has been learned for the future about how teaching and learning can/should be valued\n\nClick here to register
