Celebrating professional development for all who teach in Irish higher education
The National Academy works with Irish higher education institutions to develop, implement and advance effective research-informed teaching and learning practices to enhance the student learning experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. To this end, NAIRTL has initiated a wide range of events and activities that support stronger links between research and teaching.
How can you join
Rather than joining a network, people can access a range of resources such as NAIRTL’s handbooks, conference proceedings and interactive pdfs; the outputs of projects funded by the NAIRTL grants initiative; presentations and videos from the National Academy’s six annual conferences and number workshops, seminars and symposia. They can also engage in NAIRTL’s activities as detailed on www.nairtl.ie
