SUMMARY:ALM30 - Theory and Practice in a Changing World
DESCRIPTION:The Adults Learning Mathematics – 30th conference will be hosted by the University of Limerick.\, Ireland. \nThe conference will be held from 3rd – 5th July 2023 at the University of Limerick. \nThe theme for this year’s conference is Numeracy Theory and Practice in a Changing World. \nALM are inviting research articles that align with this theme. In addition to this\, at ALM30 invites practitioners to join on Tuesday July 4th for a number of practical workshops on this day. The conference will involve a number of different sessions involving research presentations and workshops which may be drawn from the following list of sub topics: \n\nNumeracy in a Digital Era\nNumeracy in a Sustainable\, Healthy and Peaceful Global Environment\nEffective numeracy teaching\nChanging numeracy policies\nIssues in numeracy education for adult learners in the 21st Century and beyond\n\nAll submissions that align with the overarching theme will be considered.
