It is a National Forum seminar and the learning objectives are to: \n●      Understand the broad structure of the DigCompEdu framework; \n●      Identify specific competences in different areas of the framework that participants wish to develop; \n●      Appraise the suitability of Moodle approaches and plugins that help develop specific competences; \n●      Connect with fellow Moodle users and help form a community spirit. \n  \nA full schedule of speakers and parallel sessions will be released in due course. \n  \nRegister to attend this event on Zoom. \n  \n \n\n\n\nWebinar structure\n\n0-5 mins: Introduction\n5-20 mins: First presentation\n20-30 mins: Q&A\n30-45 mins: Second presentation\n45-55 mins: Q&A\n55-60 mins: Conclusion\n\nAbout MoodleMunch\nMoodleMunch is a lunchtime webinar series\, led by Dublin City University and supported by the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning\, in which members of the Moodle community can share knowledge\, good practice and innovations from their own institutions. It is an opportunity to learn from one another\, get a flavour of Moodle activity taking place across various regions\, chew the fat\, digest interesting developments and munch on ideas! \n  \nIn keeping with Moodle’s mission to empower educators\, each webinar will explore Moodle innovations and stories that support the development of educators’ competencies on the European Framework for the Digital Competence of Educators (DigCompEdu). SUMMARY:Power of Disability Conference
DESCRIPTION:AHEAD and the Union of Students in Ireland are happy to present the Power of Disability Conference 2021\, kindly supported by the Higher Education Authority. \nThis two day event will include discussions\, presentations and feedback sessions encouraging students with disabilities to be leaders on their own campuses and provide information for students and Students’ Union officers on the issues facing students with disabilities. \nDay 1 of the conference will focus on disability in education. This day will feature sessions sharing research in the area of disability\, workshops on disclosing a disability and looking at Universal Design for Learning.  \nDay 2 of the event focuses on empowerment and constructive advocacy. We are delighted to welcome Minister Simon Harris\, Minister for Further and Higher Education\, Research\, Innovation and Science to address the conference as part of this schedule.  \nRegistration is free to attend\, but registration is limited so you must book a spot in advance.  \nTo view the full programme and register\, please click here.
