SUMMARY:Rethinking Assessment: Inclusive Assessment and Standards in a Dynamic and Changing World
DESCRIPTION:QQI in partnership with AHEAD and the Disability Advisors Working Network (DAWN) are hosting an event to explore how to make assessment practices in further and higher education more inclusive of all students. Participants will hear from leading national and international experts in the field\, explore challenges posed by an increasingly diverse population and the need for inclusive assessment at scale\, and through dialogue and feedback\, contribute to the development of national QQI-endorsed principles for inclusive assessment. Assessment\, Quality and Access professionals – we need your voice in this conversation! \nIn relation to this event and work stream\, QQI\, AHEAD and DAWN are seeking: \n\nCase studies of good practice in inclusive assessment at the individual\, programme\, departmental or institutional level – read the call and submit short text or video case study by March 8th. (please share widely)\nShort phone selfie video contributions from learners on positive experience of assessment making it more inclusive for them\, and negative experiences of assessment which presented barriers for them – read the call and submit video through the easy-to-use platform straight from your phone camera by Friday March 23rd by answering the questions posed. All learners who submit will be entered into a draw for a €100 All Go card.
